As a rider we all know that the number of bikes we need is, the number of bike we already have plus one. We can always find a reason, no matter how small a reason it is, for us to get something new and shiny. So when my new job started and it was a little bit closer to home, I reckoned that commuting by bike might be an awesome idea, and pretty much do-able. Circus of Dirt Round 2 - Newnham

Rather then come up with a strap line for this piece, I want to fill this space with a bit of a thank you. At the Circus of Dirt so many people came up, said hello and that they liked the videos, the reports, reviews and the website in general.

So I just wanted to say thank you so much for all the positive comments. It keeps us plodding on :)

Anyway this is the footage and report from COD Round 2, down in that there Newnham We got so much footage that I've done a couple of videos this time. One of them focusing on the morning Enduro race footage, which tends to not get so much coverage as we're usually trying to get the helmet cam footage, and picking good spots for the cameras.

So this time a lot of river crossing action from the enduro race as well as the usual cornucopia of footage from the whole day, on the other video. We hope you enjoy them.

Perhaps it was worth me rethinking this racing on a hardtail idea. Actually let me rephrase that, perhaps I should rethink this XC racing on my Chameleon idea, as it is set up to be a freeride bombproof steed not an XC whippet of a machine.

Ah Haldon, its my girl next door in the trail centre world. It's also a brilliant place to take those first baby steps into riding off road. There's enough there to keep your wheels dirty, through those early days. Now it is also somewhere you can take it to the next level and turn those baby steps into running strides. As Haldon plays host to an evening race series.
